How Deb Works

Per Piece

Artwork can be created live in minutes at art fairs and festivals throughout Michigan, or created in the studio from photos for mail orders, pickup, or delivery. Commissions, logos, gifts, and other custom pieces are available, along with matting and framing for finished, ready-to-hang artwork.

Per Hour

Deb can be hired at an hourly rate to provide both entertainment and fun, personal, artsy gifts for guests to treasure. She can also arrange additional artists for wedding receptions, senior all-nights, after-proms, corporate events, employee appreciation parties, picnics, promos, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays, campus activities, fundraisers, and other special events. Artwork is free to your guests.

Deb creates caricatures live at events or from photos, with options ranging from classic black-and-white sketches to full-color pieces, face-only drawings, full-body caricatures, scenic backgrounds, group drawings, commissions, and custom artwork.

For photo-based caricatures, clear front-view photos work best, especially when they show the expression you would like captured. The larger and more detailed the photo, the more detail Deb can include in the finished drawing.

You can find Deb drawing at art fairs and festivals throughout Michigan, place a mail-order request, or hire her for special events and parties. For hourly event bookings, Deb provides fun live entertainment while guests receive their drawings at no charge. Supplies vary by project, and matting or framing may also be available.

Front-view portraits are created from photos in the studio. For the best results, photos should be clear, large, and well-lit. The more detail Deb can see in the photo, the more detail she can bring into the finished portrait.

Restoration and decorative art projects can vary widely, so Deb recommends contacting her directly to discuss the details of your piece or project.

Her restoration and specialty work has included gilding decorative compo valances, painting replacement ceramic tiles to match original pieces, repairing and painting cracks in marble mantels, re-sculpting damaged decorative pieces, creating stencils, and restoring historic ceiling decoration.
